So, there I was, looking around the CH1C event, and trying to combat a headache (which isn’t easy) when I got the message that Cheeky Pea had a group gift! This was a glee moment, since I particularly love Cheeky Pea, and Isla is a dear…so I dashed off and slapped on my VIP tag to grab it.

Much to my extra glee, it was a house.

So, of course, I dashed off to my home and put it up in my backyard to check it out, and I had to snap a photo of it.

Of course, then I also had to take a photo of myself because the dress I have on from Cupcakes and my new eyes from Insufferable Dastard, because I look delectable in it all, if I do say so myself. And I will, several times. Delectable, delectable, delectable!

Ahem.

Back to the house. It is adorably small, to me anyway, with one big room downstairs and a small hideaway with a sheer curtain in it, and then a room upstairs you get to by a ladder, but it can be two separate spaces. There’s also a front porch and a balcony.

I say again, adorable!

 

The Goodies:

  • AO: Pure Lady by Oracul – One of the best cheap AOs for women I’ve ever found, honestly.
  • Eyelashes: Symphony Skins – Nice, without being super long.
  • Hair: Akami in Fierce (red, obviously) by MADesigns
  • Dress: Floral Halter Dress in Red from Cupcakes
  • Eyes: Clear eyes in Purple + Violet by Insufferable Dastard
  • Skin: Alyson by Belleza
  • Shape: Made by a friend

The Shoot Location

  • Once again, the land is rented from Azure Islands as a private home (mine, this time)…and I still highly recommend them for affordable parcels, and even full sims!
  • House: Kirsten’s Big Cottage by Cheeky Pea (VIP group gift)
  • Grass: REAL GRASS*GREEN MEADOW*RED POPPY*20x20x1.2*FLATSQUARE by KIDD Grass
  • Trees: Coniferus Lamenti by Rustica AND other trees by Landscaping by Felix

The Lady Is A Vamp

Even a creature of the night needs a little downtime, so who’s to say a vampy lady can’t take a little time to unwind at a beach house? Said vampy lady may possibly have stolen her way into a certain fellow blogger‘s house while she was shooting things for the CH1C birthday event, but she’s always doing something devious…so nyar!

To be cool, and not quite naked, this lovely little vamp decided to polish up her fangs, had her hair piled into a nearly dizzying beehive at Ploom, and hit the midnight sands in her ‘fang’tastic Lament boots from ::{Favole}:: (previously free, not able to find them anymore!) and her scandalously short Skully tank dress from  *Epic* (part of the Zombie Popcorn hunt) and take to the stone porch of that same fellow blogger’s beach house and lounge poolside while watching the waves, and a pair of adorable clover meeroos scamper and chirp about.
Of course, getting previews of the CH1C event items was a plus, and come the next night, she would have to climb from her crypt and swipe some of them for herself!
The Goodies:
  • AO: Pure Lady by Oracul – One of the best cheap AOs for women I’ve ever found, honestly.
  • Eyes: Noxious v2 by Repulse (Zombie Popcorn hunt) – These eyes are awesomely dark, yet blue. I was intrigued!
  • Hair: Dusty Beehive by Ploom – I absolutely adore this hair because it works for my fancier dresses AND my dork/nerd clothes.
  • Skin: The Layla Light skin from Glam Affair is labeled My Sweet Vampire and is available through the Zombie Popcorn hunt. I love it because it manages to be pale without looking like someone dumped white paint over my head. The shading looks soft and feminine as opposed to harsh and just starkly white. Very much worth doing the hunt for!
  • Eyelashes: Symphony Skins – Nice, without being super long.
  • Boots: Lament from ::{Favole}:: – Fascinating boots with a skeletal hand on the back of each with little animated spiders. Gothic, but without the silly look that I feel some other gothic things on the grid can have.
  • Dress: Stretchy Skully tank dress by *Epic* – Short, and sweet. Must have a nice arse to wear it!
  • Vampire fangs: Made by Gianetti, and only available on the marketplace, as far as I can tell. They can retract, and come in clean or bloody. I’m partial to the clean ones, most of the time.
The Shoot Location:
  • The Beach: A private housing rental from Azure Islands. Great land rentals at affordable prices! I use them. Fantastic staff too, always willing to help you out.
  • The House: Lanai Beach House by Pre Fabulous – This is, indeed, a fabulous house! You can see a preview in world by going to the Pre Fabulous mainstore, but you can only buy it on the marketplace! It has a pool, a television, and comes fully furnished, at 588 prims. It’s great and doesn’t eat up all the prims on a parcel for most people. Well worth the buy.
  • Palm trees: These nifty trees come from Tiki Tattoo. I own a fair bit of plants and two houses from here…I highly recommend it for a bit of tropical landscape shopping.

On the subject of the clover meeroos…they are only available as a gift to those that were in the beta testing, but if anyone wants a meeroo of any sort, I am selling some nests as my meeroos give birth!
